Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope all of my blog friends and readers have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm pretty excited, aren't you? I've been up for nearly 24 hours getting the house and food ready. We're having friends and family over tomorrow and I'm making all of the food from scratch, eek! Those of you who know me should know that I am NOT a cooker, I'm terrible at it! I'm hoping that some of it ends up being edible. John says he plans to stand behind me with the fire exstinguisher the whole time to make sure that I don't burn the house down, isn't he sweet? :) Heh.

Make sure to stop on by the My Creative Scrapbook forum to check out the monthly challenge that I came up with this month! The challenge theme is to create a layout with a storage pocket. Here is the example that I made:

I made a page to store Alex's valentines that he received from all of his friends this year. They've been sitting in a bag in my scrap room since then and I finally came up with an idea in order for me to keep them for him!

And check THIS out! I actually had a little time on my hands awhile back and made a layout... JUST FOR FUN! I haven't been able to do that in ages! This was also my first shot at using Websters Pages paper and I loooove them. I'm definitely well on my way to becoming a Websters Pages addict.

Before I go... check out who got glasses yesterday!:

Poor Alex, he has crappy vision, just like his Mommy! He had his first eye appointment on Monday. I had a feeling that he was going to need glasses because I started wearing them at 5 years old as well. He's pretty excited about it though. Apparently glasses are "cool" now (wish they had been when I was a kid!) so he was hoping that he'd need them! :) He picked them out all by himself!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Love the Valentine LO and yes Webster's paper is AWESOME! Unfortunately the dealer who was supplying my habit is closing. I may get the shakes when the next release comes out if I can't get my fix! The only thing better than the papers are the cameos and trims.
Glad your little guy has taken to wearing his glasses. Our son had his first pair since grade two and probably should have had them earlier. I know my parents put mine off too long!
Thanks for sharing and hope you are having a great Thanksgiving Day! :)
