It has been QUITE a week for us! Alex and I got home from Texas Thursday afternoon. Oh, and the reason why we got home a day late is because my dog threw up in the car on the way there on Monday. OMG, it was soo gross, lol. I had to stop and I spent about an hour cleaning it out of the car but it still smelled TERRIBLE. We had to drive to Texas with the windows down! When I got to Jennifer's I aired out the car the whole next day but I think the smell got worse. On Wednesday we took the car in to get detailed because there was no way I was driving home with that smell! It took them all day to clean it out and I didn't get the car back until about 7 at night. I didn't want to drive home in the dark so we just decided to stay another night. Not that I minded, it just meant I got to spend more time with my Jenny TP! :)
We had lots of fun in Texas. We went to the amazing scrappy store and I got to meet Richelle for the first time on Wednesday! :) Dakotah and Alex played lots, they're so cute together.
When I got home on Thursday John and I went out to dinner for our FIRST wedding anniversary! Hard to believe it's already been a year... but at the same time it seems like I've been married to him for longer, ha! I tried to get some good Saint Patrick's Day pics of the boys but they didn't turn out very well. Oh well, at least I got some this year. :)
I framed this layout and gave it to John for our anniversary.

I'm off to get Alex ready for bed so he can get up for school tomorrow. I can't believe his Spring break is over, it didn't even feel like we got a week off!

Glad you had fun in Texas. The ride there did not sound great but at least the weather was nice and you could have the windows down!! Love the LO!

OMG there is nothing worse than the smell of dog vomit! UGH! Glad you got that taken care of before you had to drive all the way home!
