Zva Creative October DT Blog Hop!

It's time again for the Zva Designers to join together to share a project that we have created using some of our favorite Zva Creative products. I am hoping that you will take some time to join us for a little bit of fun again this month!

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog: Paper Hugs. She will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in case there is a glitch along the way. If you would like to play along, I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package ...YAY! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to
leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

The Blog Hop starts now and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, Oct. 26th and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 27th on each of the five winning blogs. The full list will be found on Kim Hughes‘s blog as well (linked above). We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation that you may find there. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. The more times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.

Oh My

Where has this week gone?? Seriously, last week went by so fast I barely remember it!

Let's see- this week has been a whole lot of me cleaning up after the puppy, the boy, and cleaning up after the puppy some more! There's been some scrapping in between, more wedding planning, planning Alex's school Halloween party, and hiding in my house being creeped out by a vacuum cleaner salesman- don't ask. Just don't ever be nice to those people, I learned that the hard way!

Here are new layouts that I created with the October Scrapbook Circle kit!

I made a layout for my blog post on the Cricut Circle blog yesterday, you can see it HERE! If you don't have access to the blog here are the cute photos I used on the layout:

Alex and I carved our pumpkins last week and they're already falling apart! I'm not used to Oklahoma, since it's so hot your jack-o-lanterns rot pretty much immediately the day after you carve them- oops.

Speaking of the Cricut Circle blog, I only had ONE of my Gypsy winners contact me with their mailing info. Since it's been over a week and no response I get to pick two new winners!

Guest Designer for Inspired Blue Prints

Hey there! Wow, what a weekend this has been. We went to our friends wedding last night, it was beautiful and so much fun! :)

I am the guest designer for Inspired Blue Prints this month. I had a blast with their sketch- they make the best sketches!

Here is the sketch:

and here is my take on the sketch:

Thank you to Jennifer Tucker for taking these adorable photos of Alex, I love them! I decided to make a layout about Alex's shoes because I am absolutely obsessed with buying cute shoes for him! He has wayyy too many pairs. My mom even says she's never seen a little boy with so many different sneakers, lol. I can't help it, they are all so cute that I can't resist them! :)

I am also the guest designer for Simply ArTistiC this week! The theme was Alice in Wonderland- specifically the flower scene. Here is my take on the challenge:

Thank you so much Jennifer and everyone else at Simply ArTistiC for asking me to guest design for you! I had never made an ATC before and it was fun!

Now I am off to go have lunch with the mother in law and other family. :) Then Sarah and I are going to spend the rest of the day scrapbooking. Ahhh, FINALLY, a relaxing day! :)

My Cricut Circle Intro Project!

Good morning everyone! Well, it's morning for ME, maybe not so much for everyone else. :) Today I actually got to sleep in until 11- WOW! I seriously needed to catch up on sleep. Since I arrived in Montana on Thursday I think I've gotten a total of 4 hours of sleep in 3 days, lol. I got 8 full hours last night though, amazing. :)

I wanted to stop by real quick to share my FIRST project that I created for the Cricut Circle blog. It's so exciting that this is going to be the first of many!

For my intro project I wanted to share my favorite thing to create- layouts! I scrapped a photo of my family because these boys are the most important thing in the WORLD to me. I wanted to introduce the Cricut world to my family first!

Project: My Family Layout

Cricut Cartridges and Sizes:

Cindy Loo: 4"
2 1/4"

Martha Stuart All Occasions Cake Art: 1"

Other Supplies:
Patterned paper and chipboard: Cosmo Cricket
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Coredinations

I am so thrilled that the Cricut Circle blog has been such a huge success! I have been having a blast reading everyone's comments and feed back. This is seriously a dream come true!

Now I am off to get ready to go to a wedding today! :) Have a great Saturday!
