Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did!

We spent the morning opening presents, Alex  got so many new toys, lucky boy!

Later that day John's dad and step-mom came over for Christmas dinner. John nearly passed out when his dad walked in the door with a 50 inch flat screen for him, John's such a spoiled boy. :)

We spent the rest of the evening hanging out and putting all of our presents together. It took John nearly two hours to put THIS together for Alex:

He LOVES it, he's been playing with it almost constantly for the past two days! John and I have been playing with it quite a bit too. ;)

I'm ALMOST done getting my scrap room in order. I will have to take pics when I'm done! I haven't painted it yet, which I plan to, but I haven't decided on a color scheme yet, hmm... any ideas?? I know Kristen is going to say PINK and I would love my room to look just like yours but I think John would KILL me if I painted it pink, lol!! It really would go really well with my favorite water color painting that my mom gave me a few years ago, maybe after lots of begging and pleading I could talk him into it....

Here are a few of my favorite photos from yesterday:

Aww!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas...

This is what it looks like looking out my front door right now:

WOW!! I've only lived here in Oklahoma for a year and a half, but last winter there was pretty much no snow. This is crazy! I kinda like it, but the wind is blowing so hard right now there's no way I want to go outside to play in it. Hopefully tomorrow Alex and I can go out and build a snowman though! :)

Today I've been cleaning the house and getting ready for Christmas, I'm so excited! Alex keeps drooling over the piles of presents under the tree. We're getting ready to decorate it... finally! lol. I'll be back with photos soon!

Here's Alex from a couple nights ago with the Christmas cookies. :)

Merry Christmas!

Is it almost Christmas already?

Here's the Holiday stuff that I still have to finish within the next three days:

*Make ALL of my Christmas cards and send them out. Who knows if I'm going to get them done, lol!! Just letting my friends and family know, you'll get one, promise! They'll probably just be late.

*Decorate the tree. It's been up for weeks! All of my other decorations are up too, just haven't put the ornaments on the tree yet.

*I have a few more presents to wrap. I kept finding more stuff as I was shopping for Alex, so now I have another pile of toys he doesn't need to give to him. He's such a spoiled little guy.

*Clean the house more, even though it seems like that's all I ever do! Have to get it ready for Christmas dinner with John's dad and then....

My Mom's going to be here on my birthday! My birthday is the day after Christmas. Having her here is going to be the best birthday present I have ever received. I kind of just want Christmas to get over with so I can see my Mom, haha. She's going to be here for two weeks.

In between preparing for the holidays I've been scrapping a little, while I'm not trying to create scrappy gifts and crocheting scarves, mittens and bunnies for the fam! I've been having fun with the January kit from Scrapbook Circle. I can't put them up til the 25th though.

I also just HAD to scrap the new photo of Alex and Santa right away too. It was just so cute. I love these cosmo cricket Christmas papers so much, I can't wait to use more! I also made these:

Little Christmas ornaments/wall hangings for my mom and John's mom. Alex had a blast getting his hands covered in paint. I got this idea from Jana Eubank, thank you Jana!

New DT and More!

Yesterday John had the day off so we went Christmas shopping for Alex in the morning. We bought him a big train table and a train set. We also got him a train conductor outfit, the semi truck from the cars movie and lots and lots of clothes and other little things. Now I can't wait for Christmas to get here just so I can watch him open all of his presents!! :D

Later John and I picked up Alex from daycare and took him to see Santa!! On our way to the mall we asked Alex what he was going to ask Santa for for Christmas. He said "Hmm... A snowman, sled and a penguin!" So cute.

Before I go, I wanted to share with you some exciting news... I'm now a design team member for Scrapbook Circle! I'm so honored and excited to get to be a part of their team! :)
