I'm So Thankful

For these guys!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend!! John's dad and step-mom came over for dinner on Thursday, then Jennifer, Chris and Dakota arrived on Friday. Jen and I cooked all day and we had our second Thanksgiving on Saturday, it was fun.

Now that things are winding down from this crazy weekend I'm busting my behind to get things I still need to get done this month! I've been cranking out the Christmas cards for the Holiday Glitter Market at Paper Crown this Saturday. There are going to be a bunch of ladies there selling home made christmas gifts and lots of other fun stuff! I'll be selling Christmas cards, tags and scrapbook page kits. Please be sure to stop by if you get a chance!!

Oh and one last pic taken on Thanksgiving. The look on Alex's face is HILarious!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Late Night!!

Umm, wow. I can't believe it's 3:30 AM!! I've been sitting at this computer for hours catching up on all of my photo editing and updating the Paper Crown blog, jeez! I'm also watching all of the 10 Things I Hate About You episodes on ABC Family.com as I've been doing it so it's been pretty fun.

Herrrrre are some new scrappy pages....

Plus some new photos:

I LOVE our puppy! :)

So, if you didn't know already we just adopted our dog, Layney, a few weeks ago. She's not even a year old yet and she just went into heat, blehhh. We were working on getting her updated on her shots before she could get fixed. Her last shots appointment is actually tomorrow and then she'll be all caught up. Unfortunately we didn't get her fixed soon enough! Now we have to wait at least 3 months until we can get her fixed! We've had to keep her in doggie diapers, kind of gross. ;)

TGIF

I'm excited that it's finally Friday, but I am even MORE excited than normal... because I get to go see New Moon tonight! I'm going to stand tall amongst all of the squealing 13 year olds tonight. :)

I've had such a great week! Not really any reason why, I'm just excited for the upcoming Holidays. I can't wait for Thanksgiving, Jennifer and her fam are coming up from Texas to have thanksgiving with us. I also just talked to my mom last night and she is coming down from Montana to spend Christmas and New Years with us! I can hardly wait! I haven't seen my mom since May and I am going through serious withdrawls. I'm HOPING that she likes Oklahoma so much that she decides to move here.

My sister's coming along with my mom to stay for Christmas and my birthday too. I'm going to show her around the college here in OK to try to convince her to go to college here, instead of going to Alaska which is what she's considering now.

I've had some fun scrapping a bunch this week as well.

The last two are made using the "Ohh Lala" collection by My Minds Eye. I'm going to be using them to teach a class at Paper Crown in January. :) I am working on a third layout for the class and I'm thinking I may teach a card class with the paper kit also, since I still have so much paper left over!

Happy Hump Day!

I hope everyone has been having a great week! I've been having an amazing one, best week I've had at home in a loooong time! Now that the winter is here John hasn't been having to work 7 days a week, 16 hours a day. I never really realize how much it sucks never seeing him until we get to spend 2 whole days together. That hasn't happened since last year! We haven't really done much. We DID actually get to go see a movie on Monday though, our first one in forever since we can't take Alex to the movies. We saw Zombieland, it was good. It was an added bonus that Bill Murray made an appearance in it too, I've loved him since I was tiny. :)

I've been really inspired to scrap lately.  Here are the layouts that I've made this week:

Happy *Belated" Halloween!

From Jill and Alex, Alice in Wonderland and Optimus Prime! lol.

Alex and I spend Halloween with Jennifer in Texas.

Since I've been home I've been busy getting ready for my Christmas card class at Paper Crown on Saturday. The class is from 1-4, if you live in the OKC area there are still spots open! :D Once again here are the cards we are learning to make:

I made this one for my sweet friend, Kristen! She also sent me the Cosmo Cricket chipboard, along with a bunch of other things, isn't she the best?? :)

Now I am off to scrapbook some Christmas pages!
