Hola!

Mother's Day cards for my mom and MIL. :)

Here are a couple layouts that I made this weekend. The first one is of Alex when he was just a few months old! I don't remember exactly how many months though. :P Most of Alex's baby photos were on my mom's computer because I didn't have my own at the time. I spent forever filling 3 CDs full of his baby photos while I was at my moms. I have the sudden urge to scrapbook every single baby pic I have of him now! Usually I always want to scrapbook his most recent photos, so now that I feel like scrapping his baby photos I have to take advantage of it! I think it's probably because I miss him being a baby sometimes.

Here's a layout about my shopping habits. I thought it was about time I made one, since shopping is definitely one of my favorite hobbies! :) I made John take the ridiculous photo of me, lol.

Well, My Beginners Scrapbooking class at Paper Crown got pushed back to May 30th. I guess a lot of people were complaning because it was the day before Mother's Day and everyone's kids got out of school that week. I didn't realize that, neither did Cindy, the owner of the store! We are hoping the 30th will be a better date. :) There are already some sign ups for my Advanced class, I am SO excited for that one too!! I got a little bored and made a banner for my Beginners class, I'm going to start on the advanced one after this blog post. :) If you're in the OKC area feel free to contact me, it's going to be a blast!!

My little munchkin is still awake too, can't believe he's not tired! I have to get him to bed, get our mom's Mother's Day presents boxed up (oops, just a little late! lol), and hopefully get a little scrapping done. Hope everyone is having a great week!!

I'm Home!

Montana snap shots:

Here are my layouts that I made for my Guest Design position at Kraft Girl Kits.

New layout of Johnny and I. I love getting new pics of us, we don't get them very often anymore! I have a few more layouts and cards that are too lumpy to scan, so I have to stop being lazy and take photos of them to put up online! :)

Here are a few more of my fav photos from my trip:

My Mom and Alex. She's going get mad at me for putting this pic up, but I think she looks beautiful no matter what!! She is the best mom and Grandma in the world. :)

The weather in Montana was icky for the first week or so, but then we had all sunny and warm days the next week.

I have lots more to share soon, including old photos that I found of my family and I, Vintage store shopping, my scrapbook classes, tons!! I'll be back soon!

I would like to wish all the fabulous mother's out there a very Happy Mother's Day! I hope you had the best day ever!! :) What did you get your mom for Mother's Day? I bought my mom THIS:

and filled it with photos of Alex, John and I. A few of my mom and sister too. I hope she loves it! :)

I've Been A Busy Bee!

Hi from Montana!! I have been so busy the whole time I've been here! Been doing a TON of cleaning, catching up with old friends, spending a ton of time with my mom and John's mom. My mom's doing better than she was before her surgery, for sure! She's still in pain but she's come a long way. I'm trying to do everything that I can to help her. :)

It's been a fun week, yet a depressing one. We had to put our dog, Dana down on Monday. She was 12 years old which is about the average life span for a lab. She had cancer and her brain and legs were giving out. When I got here last week she could barely walk, I pretty much had to carry her everywhere, it was so sad. I know that us finally deciding to put her down was the right decision. She was in so much pain and it was unfair to make her live like that. I'm so grateful that I got to be here with her for her last days on earth. I know she's in a better place with my dad, that makes us happy. :) She was the best dog in the whole world! The only dog I have ever had. I will neverrrr forget here! I've been going through old photo albums to find LOTS of photos of her to scrapbook, along with lots of old photos of my family and I. I can't wait to start scrapping them.

Thanks so much for the kind comments about my mom last week! She read them all and she is so happy there are so many people who care about her. :)
