Eep!

I'm getting sooo excited about mine and Jennifer's booth at the craft fair! :) I head down to Texas next Wednesday, the craft fair is going to be Feb. 25-March 1st. I've been making stuff like crazyyyy... I took a photo of a headband that I made before my camera died, lol. I'll have to get more tomorrow. I've made a ton of these felt flowers for scrapbook embellishments and then I sewed a bunch of them to headbands, I love them! I think I want to make a headband for myself in every color. :)

I also made a layout that I am going to showcase at the fair to show everyone how easy it is to use the flowers as scrapbook embellishments. Then after the craft fair this layout is going to be framed on my wall at home, because it's one of my favorite pics everrr....

OH and I meant to write about the "milk incident" in my last post. The "milk incident" is the reason why I haven't been online too much this past week and a half.  It was a nightmare!! So... a couple weeks ago John, Alex and I all decided to take a nap after a long morning of running errands. When John and I woke up Alex wasn't in bed with us. John went out in the living room and yelled "Oh Alex, you didn't!" I ran out there and saw 2 empty gallons of milk laying in the middle of the living room... Alex had dumped them both on the living room carpet!! John and I sopped up all the milk, used nearly every towel that we had and then shampooed the carpet. We though that would have taken care of the mess. I didn't think anything of it until I Alex and I came home from work a couple days later. Right when I opened the door I was hit with a horrible STENCH! I thought the cat had pooped everywhere or something!! I couldn't figure out what it was for awhile. I checked the litter box and the garbage, neither of them stunk. I finally thought to smell the carpet in the living room and it smelled awful!! I seriously spent like 4 hours shampooing the carpet until I couldn't smell the stench anymore. Once the carpet dried it seriously smelled just as bad as it did before! I tried sooo many things to get rid of the smell... different carpet cleaner, color safe bleach, multiple stain removers, nothing worked!! I was going insane. The smell was seriously making me GAG, I couldn't just chill on the couch or watch TV or anything the smell was bothering me so bad! lol. I finally discovered this stuff online called "Kids and Pets" that had gotten awesome reviews and claimed to even be able to get the smell of skunk out of the carpet, so I gave it a shot. It took NINE bottles of the stuff to clean the carpet, the smell was ALMOST gone. Every day since I've been scrubbing baking soda into the carpet every morning and every night. I can barely smell it now! I'm thinking in about a week the smell will finally be totally gone. I'm relieved that I finally got the smell out.

Happy Valentines Day!!

So, what did everyone do for Valentines Day?? We didn't end up doing much of anything. John has been working 7 days a week so of course he was working! :( He DID have flowers delivered for me and brought home a $50 Scrapbook Store gift card though! He's the best! :) I felt a little bad though, we had agreed that we were going to buy a new comforter and curtains for our bedroom instead of buying each other Valentines presents, so I had only gotten him one little thing!

I have been busy working on lots of stuff for the craft show. I need to take photos because I don't really have anything to show for it right now! :) I have been making lots of handmade flowers, headbands and jewelery. I will try to bust out the camera tomorrow to take photos of everything! I have managed to make 2 layouts this week though!

The first one is based off of a sketch and kraftgirlkits.com. I love their sketches! :)
