Happy *Late* Thanksgiving!

Hi there! Sorry I am late wishing everyone happy thanksgiving. We drove to Texas on Wednesday to go have thanksgiving with Jennifer P and her fiance, Chris! It was fun. Chris and John went to the Cowboys Thanksgiving football game on Thursday while Jenny and I stayed home and cooked and scrapbooked. The boys had a blast! It has always been Chris's dream to go to the Thanksgiving game, and John had never been to a pro football game before so they guys were in 7th heaven! I took a pic of them before they left for the game, it doesn't really show how excited they were though.

Alex *tried* to help us cook all day, although he didn't really help much, haha. I love how he always wants to help with whatever I'm doing though.

Jennifer took family photos for us yesterday for me to put in our Christmas cards this year. We didn't have any yet this year and we needed some! I have a dilemma though, and hope that someone can help me! I like these two photos. In the first one Alex is smiling REALLY big, but John and I just have small half smiles. In the second one, John and I look super happy but Alex is making a weird, open mouthed funny face! lol. Which would you choose if you were me to use for christmas cards this year?? I need help!

The Scrapstars challenge just went up a couple days ago!! The theme this week is "Nicknames", so fun!! You can create any kind of layout you want as long as it includes a title or journaling about your nickname for someone, like a family or friend. I made a layout of Alex. I've been wanting to make a layout for awhile about how I call him "Poopie", so this challenge was the perfect excuse! :) I really don't know WHERE in the world the nickname came from. I always make up weird nicknames for people and some time when he was a newborn I started calling him Poopie. Maybe it was because he pooped so much when he was a baby, lol!! He loves it though. I'm SURE he won't when he's older but oh well. :) I always tell John how I'm going to call him Poopie in front of his friends and girlfriends, muahaha.

I've been using soo much of the new Pink Paislee Sweet Cakes line, I love it! It's so cute and I love the soft colors. :)

My week of living in a fog...

Wew, I've been so tired lately, trying to adjust to an early morning schedule again.  I've been getting there, slowly. ;)

Besides that, just been spending lots of time with baby boy.  Here's a funny conversation Alex and I had on our way home yesterday though!:

Alex: Mommy, I'm gonna give you a million dollars!

Me: Oh really! Where did you get the million dollars?

Alex: From my lollipop!

Then he proceeded to go off about how the flock of birds in the parking lot at the movie store just ate his lollipop and how they are "BAD birdies!"

LOL!! Alex is already turning into a weirdo like John and I. We're a little worried, but we love it at the same time!
