I'm Back!

Hiii! I've been back since Tuesday night, but I've been so tired I have hardly been on the computer. I miss it! usually I'm on here 24/7! haha. Well, I had a BLAST on my trip!! I went to Pennsylvania where my Aunt Kate's sister was throwing my Aunt Kate and Uncle John a surprise birthday party. My Uncle John had NO idea Alex, my mom and I were coming. My eyes still well up with tears when I think about the look on his face when he saw us! I LOVE you Uncle John!! (I know he reads my blog sometimes, hehe.) It's so amazing how much you take family for granted sometimes. I missed them SO much, and it was so great to see them, my cousins and my grandparents. They mean the world to me!! Since I've become an adult I've just realized how important family really is. I also had never met my Aunt Kate's sister's family until this week, and I already love them so much! I wish they were my family, but now they pretty much are, just not blood related. :)

Here are a FEW photos that I look while I was in Philadelphia and New Jersey. I have a TON more, I took at least a hundred, and then my aunt and her sister gave me CDs of the ones they took, I haven't even gone through them all yet! It's probably going to take me awhile, lol. I know I have LOTS of new scrapbooking material, that excites me! :D Do you like the one's I took of my son, Alex, in a graveyard?? We went to the graveyard where Benjamin Franklin was buried to throw pennies on his grave. I thought it would be cool to get some creepy pics of my son standing in a graveyard! (Yeah, I know I'm weird!) It was hard getting him to pose though, he was too excited! lol. We walked through a lot of downtown Phili, I got to see sooo much stuff, and I was REALLY excited about the Liberty Bell! I got pics of myself standing with it but I looked like a dork, haha. There's so much beautiful and old architecture there, I took sooo many photos, so don't be surprised if I keep putting them up to share! You like the pic of me in the ghetto too?? haha. I kept making jokes about how I wanted to go to the REAL ghetto and have my fam take pics of me standing in it, so when we passed some my uncle made me pose for some pics! I have some photos of me making rediculous gang signs in front of it too, but I thought maybe that was a little over the top. It was uncle's idea! He's hilarious. :)

Oh, I had a ton of scrapbook stuff waiting for me when I got back. Stuff that I had ordered online, PLUS new stuff from Tinkering Ink and Angie's stamps! I still have lots of scrapping to get done, it's going to be so fun! Now that I'm not going out of town for quite awhile I know I'll have time to finally sit down and work on it every night!

Bye bye!

Hi there! :) Sorry I haven't posted all week. :P It's been crazy busy around here... per usual! I am leaving again to go on a surprise trip today, I can't say where or why I'm going yet, I don't want to ruin the surprise! Just know it doesn't have anything to do with scrapbooking... this time. lol.

Here's a few layouts that I managed to finish this week during my little spare time. :) I've been loving the 12 x 12's again this week for some reason!

2 Years

Hiii! Today is John's 27th birthday... and our two year anniversary!! I think it's crazy we've only been together for two years, it seems a lot longer for some reason. He agrees with me. Hopefully that's not a bad thing. :)

I tried to make today as special for him as I could, even though he had to work. I made a card for his birthday AND our anniversary, along with a mushy layout. I left them on our coffee table so he would find them before he went to work, he loved them!

I decorated the house for him today while he was gone, and made birthday cookies. :) He came home with roses for me, and later we're going to dinner and a movie. We're not doing anything too exciting, we had enough of that in Montana last week, haha.

I'm Baaaack!

Well, I've been back for a couple days, but was too lazy to post anything to my blog til now, lol! I had soo much fun in Montana, I got to hang out with...

My sister

My mom

John's mom

John, of course

...and lots of dear friends!

We also went to our friend, Ryan's, wedding. John was the best man. It was so sweet, Ryan and his new wife, Nancy, are such a cute couple, and two of the nicest people you'll ever meet!!

Oh yeah, and right when I got home I had to rush to finish the Scrapstars challenge, it just went up today. We finally picked and announced our new design team, so there's tons more inspiration for each challenge now! I'm so stoked about our new team, although it was so hard for us to pick from all the amazing submissions we received! So yeah, go check out our new challenge if you get a chance, it's so much fun and Shaunna and I are already putting together an awesome prize for the winner!

Now I'm off to scrap and get ready for John's birthday. He's turning 27 tomorrow and has no idea that I'm decorating the house or anything, muahaha. He doesn't want to do anything for his birthday because he feels too old, lol. It's also our two year anniversary tomorrow, exciting eh?? I have to make him a little something special for it. :)

Bye!

I'm leaving at 5 in the morning to go visit home for awhile, in Montana. I'll be there for 6 days. I'm really excited to see our moms, and our friends!

Here are some layouts that I've actually had time to make this week. I'm sure going to miss scrapping for these next 6 days, I wish there was SOME way I could bring my scrap stuff with me, lol! :) Byyye!

Love,
Jill

Hiii!

I made this little mini out of the new Tinkering Ink Peek A Boo shapes and papers from the new Beau Jardin collection. I made this one for my grandparents again, it's going strait in the mail next week. :) One of my favorite things to do is make minis for them, they love them too!

Thank you all for the sweet comments on my blog, always!! They mean the world to me and inspire me more and more each day!
