Here's a couple cute photos of my little boy. :) Like his new haircut?? John cut it himself! lol. It's not the best, but we knew he wouldn't cooperate if we took him to an actual hairstylist, he would freak out. We pretty much had to hold him down to cut his hair this time! :D He feels soo much better though, I know he doesn't get as hot in this summer heat with his new short hair.

Holy Challenges!!

I've been making a lot of layouts for challenges for some of the design teams that I'm on this week! I've started to like challenges more and more now that I have time to do them! :)

New Tinkering Ink line "Retro Metro"!

This new Tinkering Ink line is my absolute FAVE!! When I got the papers in the mail I almost passed out when I opened the box and saw these on top! lol. The colors are so bright and fun, and I loooove all the patterns! I swear I could make 100 layouts with this stuff! (and I probably will, lol!) I also made a mini with one of the new Peek A Boo albums too. These are so tiny and cute! You can use them to make a tiny mini, or just use the shapes to add accents to your layouts.









In other news, this week has been pretty normal. I'm finally going to have to start working from home for John's dad, but it's just data entry and it'll only be an hour a day, so I can't complain! I'll feel good that I'm actually contributing some work and money again.

Now I'm going to get my lazy behind off the computer and get some cleaning done, AND I'm actually going to make dinner! I RARELY cook, I hate it! lol. I only do it because John likes it so much, ughhh.

So today was the reveal of the new Tinkering Ink Yuletide 2 collection. I've only made one layout with it so far but I really like it! :) Very pretty christmas colors. You can see more of the design team's work with this collection on the Tinkering Ink Blog! I'm really excited for tomorrow and the next day because we're revealing the other two new collections. Those two are my favs! :D

Happy Late July 4th!

Sorry I forgot to say it earlier. :) I can't believe July creeped up on me so fast! We didn't do much for it. We went to my boyfriend's work for a BBQ and then watched the fireworks from our porch. We don't know many people around here very well yet so it was nothing like it usually is for me, unfortunately. I'm sure by next year we'll have lots more fun!

Thank you so much for all the comments you guys are leaving for the Tinkering Ink Peek A Boo album drawing! Keep them coming! Your fate rests in the hands of my two year old. I'm going to have him draw names on Monday so it'll be fair, haha. :)

Here are a couple snap shots from earlier this week. First, the other night I found my cat sleeping like this:


Yeah, that's my crazy, tail-less cat, lol! Don't make fun of her! She was born without a tail, but she is the BEST cat ever! She is seriously my second child. It's like shes talking to you when she meows, and she always follows me around the house everywhere I go. Anyways, sorry the pic is so bad!! It was night time. Alex likes to get into my scrapbook flowers, and Jewel likes to sleep in my scrapbook chair. I try to keep both of them out of my area, but obviously I wasn't watching them close enough! I don't know HOW long Jewel was sleeping like this, but it was like Alex dumped them on her and she was too tired to care, ha!


This next one is a felt bib I made for my sweet friend, Holly, who's expecting. I made this a couple weeks ago and sent it to her, but she just found out that she's having a girl!! Now I'm going to have to make her some girly presents for her new baby. I just love new babies, I'm so excited for her!
