I'm a Bad Blogger!

Sorry I haven't posted in a week!! I kept meaning to, but then kept forgetting, hehe. I have spent most of this week working on something HUGE that Shaunna, Amber, Bekka and I are putting together. Stay tuned for more details, it's going to be awesome! :)
Other than that, nothing too exciting has been going on this week. Just dealing with the normal work drama! My first layout for Scrapfaith is going up on April 1st, being on their DT is such an honor and all the ladies on the DT are such an inspiration.
Above are a few layouts that I've made this week. Both are inspired by Fireflight, my fav band ever right now! I haven't really done anything all day, but John's cousin Leanne is coming over to babysit later. It'll be nice to get out of the house but we have no idea what we're even going to do! We'll figure something out. :)

So glad it's finally the weekend!! Alex and I are getting ready to go pick up John from the airport, yay! Only bad thing is his awful boss is making him work this weekend. :( I cannot STAND her! She takes advantage of John so bad. I can't wait until he gets out of there, neither can he!

Yesterday my good friend John Adams came over to paint with me. I scrapped and he painted a gorgeous painting! I took pics of him with it when he was done, I'll have to upload them soon. :) He and I want to go out and have some fun tonight, but I don't want to stay out TOO late because tomorrow's Easter! The easter bunny bought Alex LOTS of fun, new stuff!

I'm off to do my hair and leave the house semi early for the airport. It snowed last night, but now it's beautiful and sunny. The weather is crazy here! :D

Happy *Late* St. Patrick's Day!

I know I'm a day late, but happy St. Patty's day! We had SUCH a busy weekend! St. Patrick's day is John's favorite holiday, so we spent all weekend and Monday celebrating. I am TIRED, lol. It was a lot of fun though, we hung out with lots of friends, and of course got a ton of great pics! I uploaded a bunch of them to my Flickr, and there's more to come. :) I have lots of new scrapping material now! haha. Here are a few of my favs:










John is leaving to Oklahoma tomorrow to see his dad and sister, he'll be gone until Saturday morning. I hate it when he's gone! Today I was like, "John! Who's going to wake me up for work in the morning?!" because I sleep like a ROCK and it's near impossible for me to get up by myself, lol! I'll live, at least he'll be gone during the weekdays, but STILL, it's going to be a long rest of the week! :) What's everyone else up to??

My baby is 2!

Alex turned two today! :) My baby's getting so old so fast! It doesn't seem like I had him very long ago, but then on the other hand I hardly remember what it was like NOT having him around! lol. I'm sure lots of you know how that is!

We had a birthday for him at Chuck E Cheese today. He had a BLAST! Although you can't tell by many of the photos I took today. He isn't a big fan of pics! lol. He was EXHAUSTED afterwards though, he fell asleep almost immediately after we got home! I put a few pics from the party on here, you can see the rest on my flickr.







I had fun earlier this week playing with my new Sweet Spuds kit. I LOOOVE it! Most of it is pretty much gone! :) I'm going to play some more tonight because I just got a big box full of new Love Elsie and American Crafts stuff, yay! I've been excited for that stuff to come out for so long! :)





I hope everyone's having a great week! Is anyone as happy as I am that tomorrow's friday? Don't get me wrong, I've had a GREAT week, but I love the weekends! :) OH- I had my yearly review at work on Tuesday. I pretty much got yelled at... for still being in my position and not applying for a better position within the company, too funny huh?? It was a HUGE compliment to me because I really put a lot into my job. I feel like my supervisors really appreciate me and it feels so good! I got a nice raise out of it too, yay! :D

Sicky!

Hey! So you know how I said I felt like I was getting sick last week?? Yeah, it turned into a full blown case of bronchitis! I had to go to the ER this weekend, and now I'm on a bunch of meds and an inhaler. Yayyy! My weekend kinda sucked, lol! I have been coughing and hacking all weekend and barely have a voice, and I can hardly walk from one side of the room to the other without starting to wheeze, lol.

Now I'm sooo behind on stuff. John took care of Alex all weekend, and TRIED to keep up with chores and whatnot even though he's really bad at that. :) My mom came and got Alex yesterday and kept him overnight and today so I could get some rest since John had to work. I didn't go to work today, but I'm going to HAVE to go to work tomorrow because I am so behind with stuff there and I need to save my paid time off to go to Oklahoma with John next month. I'm feeling better today than I have all weekend, but I really don't think I'm going to do so well at work tomorrow. :(

Well, BEFORE I got really sick I made this layout with the February Paper Jam Studio kit. I feel really bad because I got the kit, made my two layouts with it right away, and got sick. I need to make a card and a mini book too, I started working on them tonight for awhile until I felt like I was gonna pass out and then I took a break. I just feel really bad for letting Kathy Marie down. I wanted to announce it on my blog that I'm sorry girl!! You know I love you and being on your DT and I will have them done asap!!


I really like how different this kit is. I've never worked with a kit like this before. The colors and supplies in it are almost vintagy, and I like! It's helping me expand my scrapping horizons, lol. If that makes sense??

Well I'm off to take some Nyquil and hopefully I'll finally get to sleep a whole night without waking up every half hour! :)
