Shopping Spree for Me!

Hey there! ;) I went on a little shopping spree last night! I've been stalking to Polka Dot Whimsey blog and website for awhile now, but I haven't had a chance to buy any of their cool kits... until now!! When I saw this one I bought it immediately! I don't think I've ever seen a kit so beautiful, cute, colorful and amazing in all my life!! :D I cannot WAIT to get this baby in the mail and start creating! :) Here are just a few pics of the kit that I barrowed from their site:

Scrapadilly kit and a flat tire!

Happy Monday! Eh, not really, this one was NO fun for me! It was the coldest day of the year so far today, it's down to negative 12, ew. On my way home from work I got a flat tire. I pulled over and grabbed my purse to get my phone to call Triple A... then I realized I had forgotten my cell at home. I turned on my hazards and was about to get Alex out of the car to walk home (it was just a few blocks away) but still, it was FREEZING and I did NOT want to carry a 30 pound two year old and all our junk home! Then a guy pulled over and let me use his cell. Thank goodness for nice people! lol. I still had to wait for the tow guy for over an hour. I had SO many people pulling over to find out if I needed help, which was nice, but a little embarassing, haha. It was on a pretty busy road and every driver who drove by stared at us, ugh.

Anyways, that's all over now! :) I'm just really grateful that I invested in Triple A!  On to more exciting news... here's some sneaks of the Scrapadilly February kit. I loved it! It's full of Tinkering Ink, Hambly, Magistical Memories and Prima, lots of my favs, yum! :) It also comes with a mini acrylic album, PLUS kit is going to be super cheap! I believe under $25. I posted a couple pages of my mini on here, the whole thing will be up in my gallery in a couple days.






I hope everyone had a better Monday than I did! Also... If you didn't try out my quiz posted in the post below, DO IT! Bad Blogger!

Hiiii! I am a very bad blogger, I haven't posted in a week! I just didn't have anything cool to post all this week, it's been a pretty boring one! lol. I've been scrapping lots, but all my projects that I did over the weekdays were for the Scrapadilly and Simply Obsessed kits and I can't show ya until February. :) Last night I finally had a chance to scrap with anything I wanted, I came out with these two layouts:



I looove the one of John's tattoo! He didn't want me to scrap it, but I love the pic! :) He has 6 tattoos so far... but I'm sure he'll be covered in no time! hehe. I want lots more too. I only have two, I haven't gotten a new one in over 4 years! Just ever since I had Alex, I don't have much time to even THINK about getting a tattoo since I'm usually so busy. Plus, I usually blow all of my money on scrap supplies and clothes! lol.

This weekend I put a little quiz on my myspace with 10 questions about me. About 20 of my friends have taken it, and my boyfriend and one of my best friends John are the only ones who have gotten a 100%! It's funny how lots of my friends don't know the little things about me. When I was looking at the quiz results I came up with a little idea... Shaunna Rocks!

Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE my friend, Shaunna?? She and I met on scrapbook.com last year, and have been great friends ever since! She is seriously one of my best friends, even though we still haven't met yet. I can't WAIT until this summer when I move because we are just going to be living a few hours away from eachother, yay! :) She and I cliqued right away, we have such similar personalities, not to mention the same great music taste and scrapping styles! She just made this lo of me yesterday:


Isn't she the SWEETEST?? I LOVE it! I made this one of her but I'm really not happy with it. :P Gonna have to make her another one! lol.


This week has been really busy. I've been finishing up my projects for the Scrapadilly February kit. This one has been my FAV so far! It's full of Hambly, Tinkering Ink, Magistical Memories... yum! I can't wait to share! I went out with some friends on Tuesday, including Arlen who I haven't seen in forever, and he is one of my fav people ever! :) He's engaged now, it's adorable! I can't believe how much he's changed in the past few years. Here are some fun pics to share, Sarah was smart enough to bring her camera so we got a few fun ones!



It snowed today also, so now we have icy roads again, ew. I was getting used to having clear roads again! lol. I am SO over the winter, I'm ready for warm weather, capris, tank tops, and low electric bills! :)

Hello hello! :) Just a couple things to share today. I've been making layouts for the 31 Flavors Challenges over at Simply Obsessed this week. Here are a couple layouts that I made earlier this week.

After I got home from work on Friday I checked my mail and found a package full of this stuff:

I got a big package fulllll of chipboard from Magistical memories. I was so stoked! I can't wait to start playing with it all! I have barely scrapped anything so far this weekend, so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I KNOW I will tomorrow! I got all the cleaning done today so I could concentrate on fun stuff tomorrow. :)

Here are a few pics of Alex and my kitty at my mom's house on christmas day. I rarely get pics of my cat because she hasn't been living with me for the past year now! I miss her, I can't WAIT to get her back this summer once we have a house that we can have pets in. It's near impossible to find places to rent around here that allow pets, ugh.

Hi All! The week is halfway over, thank goodness! :D I've had a pretty good week so far. Last weekend went by so fast, I slept through most of it! I'm pretty sure I was fighting on some kind of virus. I slept about sixteen hours both Saturday AND Sunday. I felt really bad on Sunday, Alex was so bored! Every time I sat down for even a minute, I would doze off. A lot of people around me are getting sick, so I'm pretty grateful that I got so much sleep, or else I would have caught it too! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't catch it.

Yesterday John and I went to dinner and a movie. We saw "I am Legend". I thought it was really good! It was fun going out, but I'm still pretty tired. The rest of this week and weekend, I'm devoting my time to taking it easy, AND scrapping of course!

Yay for the Weekend!

I know I say that every friday, but I really AM always excited on fridays! lol. Weekdays are so busy, yet boring for me. :P

Nothing too interesting has happened this week. I had to start taking Alex to a new day care on wednesday. My old babysitter retired, I was soo upset! She has been taking care of Alex since he was a newborn and he LOVES her. She ran a little daycare in her house, it was so warm and cozy, all the other kids were the sweetest! Every day when I dropped Alex off I would have to hug all the kids goodbye before I left, they all wanted one! It was the cutest thing. I was attached to a bunch of those kids. :( On monday, Alex's last day with Alice, (his babysitter) she gave me a little scrapbook that she made full of pics of Alex and the other kids! I pretty much cried!

Anyway, so I had to start taking him to an actual daycare center since most private babysitters don't babysit after 5, and I work until 7 every night. Everyone who works there is really nice, Alex is always happy when I pick him up, but I KNOW he's really overwhelmed there. He won't take naps there, I think because there is too much going on. When I get him home he is sooo tired and grumpy! I'm sure he'll adjust though. Only 5 more months of having to take him to daycare and then I get to take care of him myself. That's what I keep telling myself! I hate having to drop him off to someone else to take care of him almost every day. I want him to be with his mommy! :) I'm a worrier too, I can't help it, I worry about him so much during the day.

Well enough with the complaining! lol. I plan on scrapping most of the weekend, and on saturday John's dad is coming into town, so we're going to hang out with him, John's stepmom and his two sisters during the day. Saturday night John's cousin is coming over to babysit and give me a little break to go out and have fun, yay! I wish she could be my permanent babysitter during the day, Alex LOVES her!

I hope everyone had a great one! :) Mine... wasn't so great. John ended up having to stay late at work, so we couldn't be together at midnight. :( I had a babysitter and I was going to go out, but it snowed and rained during the day on the 31st and the roads were really slick. I was sliding around just driving from work to my house, which is just a few blocks, scary! My little honda is cute but doesn't do too well on the ice, lol. SO, most of my friends and I decided we weren't going to risk driving on the ice. Icy roads + lot of drunk people driving= bad news!

Anyway, so that wasn't even the bad part! John was coming home from work at about 2 am. He was a block away from our house when this girl in an SUV turned off of a side street about 30 feet in front of him onto the main road, but then she pulled to the side of the street and parked. John had slowed down when he saw her pull out, but sped up again once he saw that she had parked on the side of the street. Then she all of a sudden flipped around right in front of him to do a u-turn! He didn't even have time to stop, t boned her and it totaled his car. The girl driving the other car only looked about 18, and she was soo drunk! John called the cops immediately even though she was begging him not to. They came and gave her a sobriety test and arrested her on the spot! John was lucky, his airbags saved his life. All he has is a broken wrist, thank god. It could have been so much worse! :(

We spent most of new years day sitting in the emergency room. :P But then we went shopping and out to eat, two of John's favorite things to do! lol. I've been babying him like crazy, he's soaking it up for all it's worth! hehe.
