Relax!

I've decided to lock myself in the house this weekend. I REALLY need to just relax now that the holidays are over. In a lot of ways I'm GLAD they're over. I love this time of year, but it is wayyy too busy. So much has been on my mind and I have been so busy I haven't really felt like I've been getting ANYTHING done! I've also been neglecting my scrapbook and blogger friends! Sad! :( I haven't really been happy with anything that I've created in the past month either. I scrapped all night yesterday and just started scrapping today, so happy with the results! I finally feel like I've gotten my mojo back. I think the holiday stress was blocking the creative part of my brain, lol.
I just got a big box in the mail from Scrap in Style this week. They were having a big 50% everything holiday sale so I bought sooo much stuff! It was such a deal, I couldn't say no! haha. I've barely touched anything but the new ZingBOOM kit. Let me just say, I am in LOVE with it!!  Here's a layout that I've done so far.


I am off to feed Alex dinner, then get back to scrapbooking.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is officially my birthday. The BIG 23, haha. It hasn't been too exciting so far, I've been at work all day! :P I don't know if I'm going to get to go out and do anything fun, my mom bailed on babysitting tonight!! Grrr.... Going out to dinner with a bunch of family at least though, so it should be fun.

My christmas was fun! :) I haven't uploaded all my pics yet, but here's a few cute ones of Alex opening a couple christmas presents on christmas eve. John and I aren't good at waiting for christmas to open presents, haha. Alex still got plenty on christmas though! :)

A Great Birthday

I had a birthday party yesterday, it was so fun! It was kind of a last minute thing. My friends and I just went out to dinner and out for a few drinks, but it was a blast. It's so rare when everyone is able to get together! I posted a few pics from last night.






Here are some pics of John, Alex and I opening presents. You can totally tell we just got up!! lol. We are all in our pajamas with our hair sticking up everywhere! :) John and I won't be together on christmas day, so we celebrated our christmas yesterday. He gave me a cute little pink ipod, it has my name inscribed on the back! I got a bunch of gift certificates to my hair and nail salon too, yayyy!! I haven't had my nails done in so long, I NEED them done! haha. I used to get acrylics because my nails are so small and soft that I can't grow them out, but once I became a mom it just got harder and harder for me to get to the salon every couple weeks, so I finally just stopped. It costs so much money too! But I still miss having them done, nonetheless. :)








John bought Alex lots of toys and clothes. He even got him his very own little tv chair AND a fun potty training toilet. It's our goal to start working on potty training Alex starting in January. That's my new years resolution this year! I bought Alex a bunch of stuff too, but he doesn't get it until christmas day. :) As for my birthday, I got LOTS of clothes so far! My friends know me so well. :) I got lots of other stuff too, I feel totally spoiled this year!! :D

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I have ALMOST all my christmas shopping done! :) Just have to go grab John a gift card for Game Stop, and go buy my friend Sarah a cute shirt, and I'm allll done! Thank goodness, lol. John and I are still working on our scrapped presents though. I'm sure that's what we'll be doing for most of the weekend. This Saturday we're having a birthday party for me, it's going to be so much fun! My real birthday is the day after christmas, but we're having it the Saturday before since a lot of my friends are going out of town for christmas.

I spent most of last week working on my Acrylic album for Paper Jam Studio. I LOVE how it turned out! Kathy Marie has gotten me addicted to acrylic albums now. :) I plan on making lots more from now on! You can see the rest of the album in my Gallery.

I'm getting really nervous and excited for christmas. There are so many presents under the tree, I just want to rip them open right now! lol. John told me the present he got me isn't like any present he's ever gotten me before, so now I'm even MORE curious than I was before! I'm dying to know what it is!! I'm going to have to be patient though :P

New DT and Family Pics!

Hi All! Just wanted to share my exciting news. I'm on the Magistical Memories DT! So excited. I just love their products! :) There are so many talented ladies on the DT, it's going to be so fun working with them!

We got our family pics yesterday! I'm not really happy with how they turned out, except for the first one of just John and I, but it was difficult taking pics with a hyper 2 year old! lol. He would hardly sit still. We wanted pics of Alex by himself, but the only one we got was of him smiling at a teddy bear. We couldn't get him to sit still! lol. I'm just glad we finally have some professional looking family photos though. We're going to try to get new ones every 6 months from now on.

Workin Hard or Hardly Workin??

I would have to say I'm workin hard for once! haha. I know it looks like I haven't been doing much lately, but I've been working my butt off! :D I put up a few sneaks to prove it! lol. I have so many exciting announcements to share in the next couple weeks! I can't wait to let the cat out of the bag! lol.





I'm sooo glad it's almost the weekend! I know I always say that, but I seriously live for the weekends! Nothing's better than NOT working, spending time with the fam and friends, and getting to scrap lots! Am I right??

I love holiday time! My sister just got home from college tonight, I missed her sooo MUCH! We are going to make sure to spend every other day together while she's here. :)

Simply Obsessed December Layouts

The December newsletter at Simply Obsessed is finally out! The DT did such an awesome job with this kit, it's my fav they've had by far! Here are the layouts that I have made so far. I love this kit so much though, and I have so much stuff left over that I know I'm going to make a ton more! :D




I went to the Seether, Red and Hurt concert last night. It rocked! It was so awesome seeing all those bands live! John got a pic with the lead singer from Hurt and his autograph, he was on Cloud 9 for the rest of the night, lol.

Crazy Weekend!

Wow, my weekend was crazy! On Saturday we had our family pics taken, we get them back on the 14th. :) We got lots of cute family shots, but when we tried to get individual pics of Alex, he wouldn't sit still for them. :( We tried so hard but it just didn't happen! Later that night we dropped Alex off for a night with my mom and went to my company christmas party. It was pretty fun! They had an awful band instead of a DJ this year, bad idea! Most of us left early and moved the party over to a bar nearby with GOOD music! haha.






Last night was my friend B's birthday party. She said it was the best birthday party she had ever had! But man, am I TIRED, lol.

Other than that, nothing more to update really. The Simply Obsessed December newsletter should be coming out soon, going to post the layouts within the next couple days. :)
