Motivated

I don't know what it is tonight, but I've been so motivated! lol. I did SOME chores when Alex was awake, but he makes them nearly impossible most of the time! Especially today, he has a couple teeth cutting through, so the poor guy's been really moody. :P After he went to bed though, I cleaned the whole house, and I've been scrapping up a storm! :) I've been working with my new kit for Paper Jam Studio. I love it! It's full of SEI, Doodlebug, Love Elsie, Basic Grey, Paper Salon, Oscrap and more! Here are a couple layouts I've done tonight so far. The first one is Me and John, and the second is my friend, Amber sleeping with her cute hubby!This weekend was fun. We got a babysitter on saturday and I went out for a couple drinks and saw Saw 4 with John and Sarah. I love it when Sarah comes into town! :) She used to live in Billings, but she moved to a town about an hour from here to be closer to her family. She's been coming into Billings at least twice a week lately! I told her she should just move back. ;)
Today Alex and I went shopping, even though it wasn't a very long trip because he was so grumpy! When we went to Ben Franklins I was buying some felt, and he grabbed two peices of this orange felt and wouldn't let them go! He walked through the store clutching them to his chest like someone was going to take them away from him! haha. When he took his nap today, I made him a little felt stuffed animal out of the felt. I think it kinda looked like an orange when I was finished! I didn't even mean to. I gave it to him when he woke up, and he LOVED it! He wouldn't let go of it for practically the rest of the night! :)

What A Week

I Believe

I made this layout for a challenge over at One Little Word. This week's word was "Believe" and I jumped right on that challenge because I knew I wanted to make a layout of my son. He is the one person I believe in the most. I wish I had had more room the journal on this one because I had so much to say! I live my life for him, and I want him to have the best life possible. I want to give him everything I couldn't have as a child, and everything I didn't have as a child that I should have had. I believe that he will have a wonderful life with me, I'm going to make sure that happens! :)

Well, I hope everyone has been having a great weekend! Mine was lots of fun. :) I went out for awhile on friday with my friends Sarah and Amanda. I haven't been out with them in months so it was so fun to catch up with them! On Saturday John, Alex and I went shopping practically all day. We bought wayyy too much stuff, including a playstation 3, hehe. It is John's new obsession! :)
We went and saw 30 Days of Night later that night. It was an okay movie, not the best but it was pretty scary and gory! :)
Today Alex and I have been sitting at the house, watching Law and Order, playing and doing chores. An average Sunday night for us! :)

Scrapjacked Challenge

This is my take on the challenge over at Scrapjacked this week! It was fun to make and I love these pics of John and I being goofy! :) I had to stay home from work today because Alex now has pink eye. Man, it's just one problem after another! lol. The doctor gave him some eyedrops this morning though and it's already looking better. I just hope John and I don't get it! I can't wait to get to work tomorrow and see the piles of stuff waiting for me. :) It's going to be a pain to catch up from last week and today! At least I know the work day is going to fly by, haha. My mom is going to babysit for me tomorrow night so I actually get to go out with some friends! It should be fun. Tuesday nights are John's fooseball tournament nights at a local bar here. We usually hang out there while he and his friends play. I usually don't bother them because they get so serious about it, I don't want to deal with their silly guy drama. :P haha. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday! :)

Boring Weekend :P

So this weekend was pretty boring. We did lots of sleeping! Next weekend should be a lot more fun. I'm up super late tonight because I slept pretty much half the day away! I'm having fun with the Story of my Life kit that I got in the mail on friday, it's lots of fun! AND kind of different for me! Usually I use pink in every layout that I do, but lately I haven't been. It's a nice change for once. :) I hope everyone had a great weekend! Hopefully it wasn't as boring as mine! :D

Getting in the Holiday Mood...

I just designed a bunch of stuff with a new kit from Paper Jam Studio. It's made up of the "Ba Ba Black Sheep" collection from Piggy Tails. It was so fun to work with! Lots of pretty christmas colors. I don't have many pics from last christmas so I didn't have many "christmasy" photos to work with, but I managed! Now I feel like scrapping more christmas things, hehe. :) Not too many plans this weekend. I'm going to take it easy since I've been sick all week. Tomorrow my two best friends are coming over and we are scrapping, as usual. I just got the new Story of my Life kit so I'm pretty excited to work with that! :) Hopefully I'll have some layouts made with it up soon. I also got a little package from Holly in the mail AND my kit from Amber yesterday too! I love getting new scrappy stuff! :) I hope everyone has a great weekend!

4 Jobs I've had:
1. Cable Company Orders Specialist- my current job. I like it most of the time. It pretty much means that I put in lots of orders for all the telemarketing reps and door to door salesmen that work for us because we can't trust them to put them into our system themselves. I do lots of paper work, fun fun!
2. Customer Service Rep at Lowes- worked here for 2 years during college. It was okay most of the time, but I hated dealing with all the bitchy customers! Some people are so rude, let me tell ya!
3. McDonalds- worked here during high school. It SUCKED! I worked with a lot of my friends though, so it was fun sometimes. It was gross, so gross though! This job is the reason why I don't eat fast food very often, lol.
4. Bureau of Land Management- worked here when I lived in alaska before I moved to montana. I was SO mad at my parents when they made me leave alaska and this great job!! I worked my butt off and went against lots of other students at my school to get it. I got it, and it rocked! I had my own office, could work my own hours. When I went to college as long as I worked to get a degree I could use working for them, they would pay for it. Once I graduated I would get a job with them immediately. When I moved to montana I lost it and they had nothing like that here. :(

First Haircut!

Hi all! :) I had a busy busy weekend! (and a sick one!) the cold that Alex had hit John and I HARD this weekend, but we still tried to do everything we planned anyways. Alex got his first haircut on Saturday morning! He looks sooo much older now that he has short hair, it's crazy!
John's mom cut his hair at her salon. Alex was such a good boy, I thought he wouldn't struggle and cry but he didn't the whole time! It was a miracle! lol.

Later that night John and I were supposed to go to Lindsey's husband's birthday party, but we almost didn't go. Everyone called us and convinced us to go, so we went. It was fun, but we probably shouldn't have gone! Dani, Lindsey and I took a bunch of pics, as usual! They look so cute and dressed up, but I just put on jeans and a tshirt and pretty much dragged myself out of the house. I love how great these pics are though! I love these girls! :)

One Spoiled Girl!

Wow, I have felt so spoiled these past couple days! I just HAD to share, hope no one minds! lol. This week hasn't been the greatest. Alex and I have an awful cold and work has been really stressful. My mom has cancelled on babysitting for me 3 weeks in a row, I haven't really had much "down time" and I've just been feeling worn out.
Yesterday when I got to my desk at work, these were there waiting for me:
My friend, Jason, bought me a dozen pink roses! My fav! It totally made my day, lol. He knows I've been feeling kind of down and he wanted to make me feel better. :) Sorry the pic is so bad, I took it on my phone!

THEN, this morning I woke up to these on my kitchen counter!
John bought me roses, a bunch of new Transformers stuff for Alex's room (that's what he's decorating it in, I'm not gonna stop him, lol) and a new winter coat for Alex! :) I started my friday off in a REALLY good mood! He left me a really sweet note too, I think I read it about 10 times!! :D

This weekend is going to be a blast, we have so much planned! John and I are finally taking Alex to get his FIRST haircut tomorrow! It's going to be so weird to see him with short hair! John's mom owns a salon and she was so happy when we asked her to give him her first haircut. She's coming into the salon on a saturday just for us! After THAT Dani and Lindsey are coming over to scrapbook all day, and later we are throwing Lindsey's husband a surprise birthday party. He thinks NO ONE is coming to his party, but we're going to surprise him and pick him up in a Hummer limo! I've never been in one of those before, I'm stoked!

I have some yummy things coming in the mail next week :) I bought an awesome kit from Amber, she sells them in her etsy, she is a natural at putting kits together! Then I bought the October kit from Story of My Life. Cannot WAIT to get them! Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions on what kit to buy. You guys definitely helped! I decided on the Story of my Life one because I bought Amber's kit, which is quite similar to the one over at Red Velvet, but I think I like the stuff in her kit better! :)

Tomorrow is World Cardmaking Day. There is going to be a big crop over at Paper Jam Studio. Go check it out! Kathy Marie Perez is planning so many fun things, including video how-tos! Can't wait to make some cards tomorrow! I have to work on my new DT kit from Paper Jam Studios some more too. It's made up of the "Ba ba Black Sheep" line from Piggy Tales, it's so cute and fun! It's going on sale over there soon.

Well I'm off to do some scrapping, I've been looking at my fav blogs all night and I am SO inspired now! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :)

Halfway Done!

I'm over halfway done with the week, yay! Right now I'm procrastinating working on some scrappy stuff and taking out the garbage, ugh. lol. I can't wait until I can quit my job next summer, I'll have so much more time to do all this stuff during the day time.
I just finished all my layouts for the DT at Simply Obsessed. I'm really happy with them! It was kind of difficult to work with the kit at first, just because I've never used much Daisy D's stuff before, but it was a fun challenge and I'll probably be using stuff like that more often on my pages! :) The newsletter showcasing everyone's work will be coming out either tomorrow or friday, I can't wait to see what everyone else did with the kit!
I've been decorating the house for halloween. I don't have TOO much stuff up yet, but this weekend I'll probably finish. I bought a few things at the craft store to make a few more this weekend too, fun stuff!
I'm still looking for a tiger costume for Alex. I can't seem to find one anywhere! We have the ears already, we just need the rest! Doesn't he look adorable?? He just loves them! :) Sorry the pic is a little blurry, I wish I'd gotten a better one.
Yesterday John got a new tattoo. He got this cool transformers logo on his side. The poor guy, he looked like he was in so much pain the whole time he was getting it! I called him a whimp, lol! He made me promise I'd get a new one soon, I just can't decide what I want! I'm torn between some stars on my shoulder, getting my butterfly on my ankle changed a little bit, or getting something on my upper back. Oh well, I don't really want to get one soon anyways! I have to be in the "mood" lol.
I need your guy's opinion. I'm going to buy a kit tonight, but which one should I get?? I'm so torn between these two: The one at Story of my Life and the one at Red Velvet Art. Which one would you buy if you were me?? :)
