I'm Tired...

But I'm still up scrapping! haha. I am way too addicted :) I needed a little break so I thought this would be the perfect time to post a blog entry!
Not too much going on in my life, just the same old.
Work is sooo busy, like even more busy than it has been! Ugh, it's exhausting. Can't wait until the summer's over because that's when my job gets slow, and I seriously need a break! :D
I won a random pack of scrappy stash from Holly today! yayyy! I'm so excited! And she is SUCH a sweetheart, thank you Holly! :)
John had to work all weekend, so that wasn't any fun :( He doesn't have another day off until next saturday, aughh! I'm so John deprived! lol. I finally finished the lo I was working on to frame for our anniversary, it's a little late, but I know he'll like it! Now he just has to get home from work so he can see!
Okay, this girl had better get to bed, I don't want to be TOO tired at work tomorrow! lol. Hope everyone is having a great week!

State Fair Fun

We went to the state fair on thursday, so fun!! It was Alex's very first time going to the fair, last year he was too young and wouldn't have enjoyed it too much. I only took him on one ride, he loved it, but I was too chicken to take him on anything else, didn't want him to get scared. :) He got to try lots of fair food, and John won him a bunch of little stuffed animals from the games. One prize was this little blue puppy stuffed animal, he hasn't let go of it since! haha. Oh yeah, and he didn't like the petting zoo very much, he was really scared of the donkey! We figure he might like it better next year, lol. John and I were going to go back on Saturday night, but I didn't feel very well, so I didn't go. He went back and had a blast though! I sat at home and scrapped and played with Alex, I still had fun! :) I'm pretty sad that it's Sunday night now though, I don't want to go to stressful work! I'm such a whiner! lol.
OH, and then thursday night we went out for John's birthday party. We threw him a little transformers birthday party, he's so obsessed with them! haha. Everyone made fun of him all night for being a dork, but I think he liked it :) His best friend and I got him a TON of transformers stuff for presents! He turned 26 this year, I kept making fun of him for being old :) At one point he said "Man, in 4 more years I'll be an old man!" And I said "Yeah, and in 4 years I'll be YOUR age!" He didn't like that comment too much, but everyone else thought it was hilarious! haha.
Saturday morning Dani and I went to the scrapbook store, and she actually bought a bunch of supplies! I was so excited to help her pick everything out, she had no idea what to get! We scrapped on saturday night, I'm going to try as hard as I can to get her addicted!
I hung out with my friend Sarah for most of the day today. She came back to Montana this week. She had moved to Hawaii just to get away from Montana, but it didn't work out, she missed us all too much! It was really nice hanging out with her again, I missed her soooo much. She and I used to hang out 24/7 last year, she's actually the one that introduced me to John!
Today Alex tripped and fell on the carpet and bit his lip. I was freaking out because I couldn't tell what was bleeding at first! I just saw he was bleeding from his mouth and rushed him to bathroom. It's just a small cut and he got over it pretty fast, but I still feel so awful. I had to call my mom right away to tell her about it. She can relate with how I feel so bad for it happening, but it happens! He's at the point now where he is crawling on top of things, falling off of things, running and falling, little kids get hurt! I am still so paranoid though, sometimes he gets annoyed with me following him everywhere he goes and trying to hold his hand all the time, lol. I'm sure all moms out there can relate with me! :)
Well I'd better get going and finish doing the chores and getting ready for tomorrow, hope everyone had a great weekend!
OH, I have been SO obsessed with a song all this weekend! I love the song, "Umbrella" by Rihanna, I'm not really into music like that, but I really like the song and it's sweet message. Well, Mandy Moore does a cover of it on Yahoo Music, and it is soooo beautiful! Just go to Yahoo.com/music and look up Mandy Moore, you won't be disappointed!

Happy Anniversary!

It's mine and John's one year anniversary today! AND his 26th birthday! We met on his birthday last year :) His friends had taken him out to the bar for his birthday and my friends had dragged me out of the house because I needed to have some "fun", lol. I'm glad that they had because I ended up being introduced to John that night! :) We hung out all night, he got my number, and the rest was history. It's so crazy to think we've been together for a year already! It really doesn't seem like it's been that long. He is the best boyfriend in the world, and he is my best friend.
Today we are taking Alex to the fair, and then later we are dropping him off at the sitter and we are going out with friends. It should be lots of fun!
I made him a little anniversary card last night, but I'm still working on a layout that I'm making of us to frame for him. I told him it probably won't be done until tomorrow! lol. I'm such a procrastinator.
Now I'd better quit messing around on the computer and get ready to go!

Omg omg!

Iam on my very first DT!! At Simply Obsessed,SO excited! Their kits are so so cute, I can't wait to start designing for them! 8 of us made it, and I can't wait to get to know the other gals on the team! They are all so talented. Go check them out, join their message board! I'm on there all the time! :) Sorry if it sounds like I'm bragging, I'm totally not, just really excited! :)
I didn't get any scrapping done last night, I was too tired from the busyness of monday, although today wasn't really much less busy! lol.
Only one work day left until thursday, took the day off for mine and John's anniversary :)
Now I'm REALLY off to do some scrapping, I have lots of energy tonight!

Ugh, Monday!

Well, it's Monday again :P My least fav day of the week! Mondays are always the busiest day at work, so I'm sooo glad it's over!
Thursday is mine and John's year anniversary, yay! I'm sooo excited we have been together for a whole year already, and our relationship is amazing! I have never had a boyfriend like him before, he is so caring, sweet, nice, fun, exciting, smart, har working, generous, everything! I just love everything about him. AND he's not TOO sappy, (I hate sappy) it's pretty much like we are best friends but a little more :) LOVE him! Thursday is also his birthday, so we have lots to celebrate! I have TWO cards to make for him before then, so I had better get crackin! lol.
I had a good weekend, it was really relaxing for the most part. It was my friend, Lindsey's, birthday on saturday, so we had a birthday party for her at a dance club here, we got some cute pics!
I'm off to get some scrapping done! Hope everyone had a great monday! :)

6 x 12 Love

I have been on a 6 x 12 layout size kick lately. I LOVE this size! Going to do MORE 6 x 12 scrapping tonight. :) I'm so happy tomorrow's friday, I LIVE for the weekends! lol. My best friend and I are going to work on art stuff all weekend, he has a painting goal and I have a scrapping goal! Hopefully we'll be able to hit them!
We had a little birthday dinner for my friend, Lindsey, this Monday, got some cute pics. Her actual birthday party is this saturday, I know we are going to get a ton of good pics, we always do when we're all together! I have sooo many new pics I want to scrap, I better get crackin! lol.
I posted a few of the 6 x 12's I've made lately, PLUS a few pics from monday night. One of the layouts I made using the "I Love Candy Town" kit from Scrap in Style! Love that kit! I have so many more lo ideas for the kit, but so little time :P lol.

Rockin Door Hanger!

I just made this door hanger for my Alex yesterday, I tried putting it on his doorknob, but he kept taking it off and trying to play with it! I had to take it away and hang it on his wall, I know he would destroy it in 2 seconds if he got the chance! :) That's a 1 1/2 year old for ya though, lol. Sorry for the bad photo of it. The lighting in my house at night isn't the best.
I'm so stoked for the weekend! I'm going to a Clintons concert tomorrow AND saturday with John and a bunch of friends. I don't know if I can handle 2 long nights of concerts in a row, but I'm going to try! :)
I had better get off the computer, I'm avoiding house work! lol. Have to finish cleaning the house for the babysitter tomorrow. I have been playing with my new "I Love Candy Town" kit from scrapandstyletv.com. It is so fun! I will post new layouts this weekend!
