Relaxing Weekend

Hi guys! So, I finally have been having a relaxing weekend. :) It's actually been really nice! No concerts, no work, just a little shopping, which I don't mind! I slept probably half of yesterday, I can't believe how sleep deprived I was! Today I've had time to do some scrapping, clean and catch up with lots of friends on scrapbook.com! That's what I plan to do with the rest of my day too. John, Alex and I went shopping yesterday, just went to Ross and TJ Maxx. John bought Alex an adorable Phat Farm outfit and a pair of camo shorts. He's had an obsession with camo pants lately! Just on Alex and me, haha. He tried talking me into getting a pair of camo capris, but I know I probably wouldn't wear them. I only let him buy me one shirt, I like it :). I already spent all my money on the new Elsie lines, and a bunch of hambly overlays and rubons AND Adrienne Looman's new Candy Town collection from scrapandstyle.com! So excited to get it in the mail this week! I've made one new layout with the new Love Elsie "Lola" line, and more to come! Hope everyone's having a fun and relaxing weekend!

Yay for CHA!

OMG, I have been looking at all of the new CHA stuff all weekend!! I have been drooling all over my keyboard guys! lol. I seriously cannot WAIT until all of this new stuff comes out!! Here are a few of my favs:

I also ordered the new Love Elsie Lola and Riley lines that just came out. They are only available at Hobby Lobby, and we don't have one here. But Elsie just posted a link where we could order them online, so I did immediately! Here are some pics of the fun product, can't WAIT to get them next week! :)





Hopefully when I get all these fun, new products it will get me out of my scrappy rut! I've been in one for over the past month, and I don't know why! Usually I'm pumping out layouts every day, but lately, not at all. If I sit down and look at my scrap stuff I just kind of stare at it and decide to do something else! John and I were talking about that today, and we think it has a lot to do with the HEAT. It has not been under 100 degrees for this past month. I don't have AC in my apartment so all I do is sit in front of the fan all day! lol. When I first rented this apartment, I thought it DID had AC. If I had known it didn't I would NOT have rented it! I thought about moving for awhile, but this is one of the nicest apartments you can get around here, PLUS I don't have to have to move all my junk to a new place! lol.

I had a GREAT weekend! I went out with some friends I haven't gone out with in forever on thursday, then yesterday was my boyfriend's best friend's birthday party! We went to a Clintons show at the Railyard (cool bar around here) and it was a BLAST! I had to go sing with them on stage at one point! lol. They pulled me up on stage out of NO WHERE, it was crazy! I'll have to post pics later this week, we got a lot of good ones! :)

Break

Hi! :) So, I haven't done anything artsy all weekend :( I decided to take a little break this week, because I've been working 24/7 AND I have had to take Alex to the Emergency room in the middle of the night twice this week!! On thursday night I took him because he was sooo sick when I picked him up from the sitter after work. I went home, gave him some tylenol and fed him. He seemed a little better, just a little fussy and his head felt a little warm. I couldn't tell if he had a fever or not because it's been so darn hot here lately! But he couldn't sleep, I even tried putting him in bed with me, but he just got upset because John wasn't home yet! I decided to take him in to the emergency room at about midnight. I called John but he didn't answer, and he didn't call me back til I was there already. He was freaking out because he didn't know where we were or what was wrong! lol. He ended up having an ear infection and a fever. The doctor gave him some antibiotics, and by the next day I could tell he was feeling a lot better. THEN yesterday at about 7, Alex started to break out in hives all over his body! We were freaking out and went to the emergency room right away. He had had a bad reaction to the meds, so he's on a new antibiotic and he's been taking benadryl so he's been pretty drowsy. Besides the drowyness though, I can tell he's back to his regular ol, happy self! I've been really paranoid though, and watching him so closely because I don't want him to have another bad reaction to these meds!
I just can't wait until we move out of billings next year! I sooo want to be a SAHM/artist! It'll be nice to have lots of time to do what I really love, AND get to be with Alex and John a LOT more!
So yeah, hopefully this week won't be as busy and hectic, so I can actually have some ME time!

Iso wish I had more time to scrapbook! I try to do it as much as I can, but my job takes up so much of my time! I'm usually up at night scrapping though :) lol. Hopefully SOON I won't have to work anymore, and I can have my dream job of being a stay at home mommy/artist, but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet! Things are definitely looking that way though! :)
